Stana Katic – Jayme
Matt Bomer – Charles Cooper‘Good morning!’ He said as he walked towards the front of the classroom and stood tall and confident in front of his new class of eager, wide eyed pupils. ‘Welcome back to a new academic year!’ He has that cunning smile on his face – the one that said he enjoying being here. This is what he enjoyed most in life. Standing in front of all these students and teaching them. He turned his back to them for a moment, only to pick up a piece of chalk that sat at the bottom of the black board before he began to write. ‘My name is Mr. Cooper and I am here to take you through a years worth of literature, poetry and drama. But - ’ he took a dramatic pause – waiting for the correct moment. ‘I am going to make you enjoy it. Unlike the rest of your English teachers, you are going to enjoy being in my class.’
He proceeded to remove his bag and set out the books neatly in front of him. He perched on the front edge of his desk with the register in hand as he began calling out names as the students reluctantly acknowledged their presents within his class. He put down the piece of paper and ashe was about to proceeded to start the class he looked up.
‘Oh,’ he stopped and looked straight towards the back of the classroom. ‘There is one other thing, however. We have a guest in today’s class. A very special guest actually - my good friend Jayme. My best friend, actually, from when we were in school together. We went to this exact school and had English in this classroom. And if I am not mistaken,’ he started as he moved in between the clusters of desks around him. ‘We sat here.’ He stopped next to two blonde haired girls sat next to each other. He looked up and caught Jayme’s eye as she sat awkwardly at the back of the classroom. She smiled nervously back at Charles. ‘We sat here together, almost, what was it? 15 years ago.’
She gave a larger smile back at him and nervously bit her lip. It has been too long since she had left this small town. Too long since she had seen him and now she realised she didn’t want to leave.

Go get him, then come back to me.
